I tried to use TechTools Pro 13, but it doesn't support APFS format. The restore went fine, however, the error is still there. I used disk utility to erase and restore from a Time Machine backup. Previous conversation with Apple Support suggested erasing the drive and restoring. The volume /dev/rdisk3s5 could not be verified completely. I have tried to use Disk Utility First Aid, but it fails. Lately, it has shown a volume structure error. It checks my 2019 iMac 27" hardware on a regular basis. Volume structure error I use an app called CheckMate from MicroMat. There were many more warnings of the same type, but ran into character limit Restoring the original state found as mounted. The volume /dev/rdisk2s1 appears to be OK. Too many warnings of this type generated suppressing subsequent ones. Verifying the startup volume will cause this computer to stop responding. Running First Aid on “Macintosh HD - Data” (disk2s1) machine running slow, problems with photos. Have upgraded to Ventura and having some problems.
