I tried to use TechTools Pro 13, but it doesn't support APFS format. The restore went fine, however, the error is still there. I used disk utility to erase and restore from a Time Machine backup. Previous conversation with Apple Support suggested erasing the drive and restoring. The volume /dev/rdisk3s5 could not be verified completely. I have tried to use Disk Utility First Aid, but it fails. Lately, it has shown a volume structure error. It checks my 2019 iMac 27" hardware on a regular basis. Volume structure error I use an app called CheckMate from MicroMat. There were many more warnings of the same type, but ran into character limit Restoring the original state found as mounted. The volume /dev/rdisk2s1 appears to be OK. Too many warnings of this type generated suppressing subsequent ones.
